Meet Taylor Marshall
1 – How long have you been with Richardson Healthcare?
I joined the Richardson team in March of 2019.
2 – What are your hobbies/interests?
Music is my big passion in life. I’ve been playing guitar most of my life. On occasion, I will break out my mandolin and banjo.
3 – What do you like most about working for Richardson?
It’s like the eye of a hurricane. In a crazy environment where things move 100mph, you find a moment of calm.
4 – What is your favorite food?
Either a bone-in ribeye steak or BBQ brisket texas style.
5 – Where/What is your dream vacation?
Spend a week with the Gauchos in the pampas of Argentina.
6 – Favorite customer success story? (after-hours)
My favorite success story is about one of our after-hours parts orders. The customer ordered a part with expedited shipping to New Jersey. This is an easy hotshot from Charlotte so the part would get there ASAP. Moments before shipping, I get an email from the customer asking for the ETA to the greater Las Vegas area. Confused, I ask him if that is what he meant to say. The incorrect address was on his PO. It had auto-filled with their NJ office. As a team we jumped into action got it corrected, worked some logistical magic, and were able to get the part from Charlotte to Las Vegas by the next business day. No problem is too great for us to solve.
7 – What’s been one of your proudest moments working at Richardson Healthcare?
Being able to both lean on my team and have them lean on me in return. It feels like you are living in a Bill Withers song at times.
8 – Fill in the blank: I once met… Leonard Fournette, even in college he was a monster of a man. Incredibly nice man. Geaux Tigers!
9 – If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
It would be awesome to travel the world at your leisure.
10- What are five words (or less) of advice for others in your profession?
Breathe, smile, start the work
11- What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Mopping. Playing the floor is lava while waiting for it to dry gets tricky.
12- If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
George Strait
13 – What three traits define you?
Calm, resilient, accepting
14 – What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
Don’t take things so seriously. Life moves on its own, but enjoying the ride is up to you.
15 – What is the question you get asked the most from your customers?
How soon can you get this part to me?
16 – What is one thing you want people interested in RHC to know about our company?
We’re like green eggs and ham, except we would’ve convinced Sam I Am to hop on board in the first three pages.
